The Community Card's Prepaid Card
Who is it for?

Organisations who want to provide a truly inclusive membership card to their members. They will be able to offer members a value for money product while gaining benefits for themselves.

Cash management and budgeting
. The card is ideal for members wanting to budget effectively and for offering to others in the family such as children or those wishing to budget for special events(1).

Preventing fraud. Internet fraud is on the increase. As the Community Card is not linked to a current account or high spending limit, it is ideal for over the web purchases.

Over-indebtedness is a problem for many people in the UK. Last year, there were more than 100,000 insolvencies for the first time since records began(2). As the Community Card does not require any credit checks, it is perfect for people who have had credit problems in the past or who are prone to over-spending.

Financial literacy. Many people find it hard to keep track of spending and nobody understands APRs. The Community Card is a simple and effective means of keeping track of money.

No bank account?   Many people can't or won't use bank accounts. Unfortunately, people without bank accounts have been excluded from the discounts and convenience available to cardholders. The Community Card, which is inclusive and available to all, offers another route to the same benefits.
